
<p>October 30, 2022 – To promote adventure tourism in Doda, the second white water rafting festival has started in the Chenab river. Many programs are being organized for this festival which lasts for two months. People from other areas, including Doda, participated enthusiastically in this program.</p>



<p>More than 1000 people participated in this festival on the <a href="http://wildhawk.in/200-participants-enjoyed-river-rafting-in-chenab-river-in-bhanderwah/">first day</a>. Especially the younger generation showed their spirit. The program was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Special Paul Mahajan.</p>



<p>SSP Doda Abdul Qayoom and others enjoyed rafting. SDM Thathri Athar Amin Zargar is supervising the entire festival. The DC informed us that the rafting is being conducted under strict standards of safety measures.</p>
