September 20, 2023 – The Uttarakhand Meteorological Center has issued a yellow alert for rain in the mountainous districts, while some areas in Dehradun, Bageshwar, and Nainital districts may experience light rain.
According to a statement released by the Meteorological Center, a warning of occasional light rain has been issued for most districts in the state for the next three days. However, Udham Singh Nagar and Haridwar are expected to remain dry.
Yesterday, there was heavy rain in the mountainous districts of Uttarakhand. Even the capital, Dehradun, witnessed heavy clouds and rainfall. After the rain in Mussoorie, dense fog enveloped the area.
