November 01, 2022 – Two guys who left for Badrinath went missing since 28th October 2022. The family has lodged a missing person complaint at Badrinath police station to trace them. Tajwar Singh Panwar, a resident of Ganai village of Joshimath, told the police that on October 28, his son Raghuveer Singh (28) had left for Badrinath by scooty along with his friend Peepalkoti resident Lokesh Kumar.
On the same day, a pilgrim in Badrinath Dham informed the police that a scooty was lying unclaimed two km ahead of Hanuman Chatti towards Badrinath. Police found the scooter and bag on the spot. He said that his son was going to Badrinath with his friend from this scooty, but no trace of both of them had been found yet.
He appealed to the police to search for both. Where the police found the scooty, a steep rock was on the side of the road, and the Alaknanda was flowing below. In such a situation, the police fear that some mishappening might have happened.
