November 16, 2022 – Two youths from Moradabad who went to bathe in the Kosi river near Garjia temple died. The police have kept the dead bodies in the mortuary. Gaurav Bhatia (30), son Inder Bhatia and Atul Kumar (29), son Mahesh Kumar residents of Phase II Ashiana Colony Moradabad, reached Garjia by I-20 car on Tuesday afternoon.
Eyewitnesses said both youths were bathing in a deep pool built behind the Garjia temple. Many people tried to stop them from going there, but they didn’t listen. As a result, they drowned. The incident took place around 3 pm. People immediately informed the local police.
