Rain Started in Dehradun-Mussoorie, Yellow Alert Issued in Eight Districts

&NewLine;<p>June 19&comma; 2022 –&nbsp&semi;Weather will change again in Uttarakhand from today&period; There is a possibility of heavy rain in Dehradun&comma; Tehri&comma; Pauri&comma; Nainital&comma; Champawat&comma; Udham Singh Nagar&comma; Bageshwar and Pithoragarh for three days from today&period; The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert&period; At the same time&comma; the day started with heavy rain in Mussoorie&period; Also there is fog&period; At the same time&comma; as the day progressed&comma; it started raining in Dehradun as well&period; It is cloudy in other parts of the state as well&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>Director of Meteorological Center Mr&period; Vikram Singh said that after a few days of inactivity&comma; now the monsoon is becoming active again&period; After the onset of monsoon&comma; there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rain in eight districts for three consecutive days&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>People living on the banks of rivers&comma; streams as well as people living in landslide prone areas need to be careful due to heavy rains&period; On the other hand&comma; Dehradun DM&comma; Ms&period; Sonika has given instructions to be alert along with taking a meeting of all the officials related to disaster management&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>All the SDMs were directed that they would stay in their respective areas&period; Ambulances should be arranged with JCB in landslide prone areas&comma; so that immediate relief work can be started in case of disaster&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
