January 14, 2023 – Finally, Paragliding in Bilkhet started after the tourism department’s approval. Paraglider pilot Himanshu Gupta successfully landed under trial flight with local youth on Monday.
Gulshan Kumar, adventure company owner, said that after getting permission for paragliding from the tourism department, paragliding has finally started in Bilkhet, Near Lansdowne. Not only will this increase tourism in the area, but it will also help in providing new employment opportunities. District Tourism Officer Prakash Khatri said that paragliding had been started in Bilkhet since Sunday. The company has been instructed to adopt all safety standards.
