New Paragliding Site proposed at Jibhi

November 02, 2022 – Kullu. A new paragliding site will be set up at Jibhi under the Banjar sub-division. For this, the site has been inspected by the tourism department. After inspection, the site has to get the state government’s approval. If the site is approved, tourism will get a boost in the Banjar Valley. Every year tourists from all over the world come here to admire the natural beauty. Soon they will also be able to enjoy adventure activities here.

From the point of view of nature tourism, Banjar Valley has made a different place for some time now. Tirthan Valley, Great Himalayan National Park, Jalori Pass, Saryolsar, Sojha, etc., are already attracting tourists from all over the country and abroad. Tourists are preferring to go to Banjar instead of Manali. If paragliding starts, tourism will get a boost here. Along with this, new doors of employment will also open for the local people. Hundreds of people from Banjar Valley are directly and indirectly associated with paragliding in the Kullu district. The community has nine sites, including Solangnala, Dobhi, Raisan, and Gaga. Once approved, it will be the tenth paragliding site of Kullu.
