
<p>March 13, 2023 – A woman tourist from Ambala drowned in Ganga after her raft overturned near Golf Course rapid at Phoolchatti in Rishikesh. The <a href="https://wildhawkadventures.com">rafting</a> guide and helper pulled the girl out of the Ganges. After this, the girl was sent to the hospital for treatment, where the doctors declared her dead.</p>



<p>According to the police, Roopa Kumari&#8217;s (28) daughter Dineshwar Singh, a Laxminagar Colony, Ambala, Haryana resident, had come to visit Rishikesh. She went out rafting with her friends on Sunday morning. Unfortunately, the raft overturned near the rapid golf course.</p>



<p>During this, Rupa Kumari drowned in the Ganges. The rafting guide and helper took him out of the Ganges and gave him CPR. After this, Roopa was immediately sent to AIIMS Rishikesh for treatment by 108 emergency ambulance.</p>



<p>Station in-charge Ritesh Shah said that doctors in AIIMS declared Roopa Kumari dead. However, after filling the panchnama, the deceased&#8217;s body was kept in the mortuary of AIIMS and told that the girl&#8217;s family members had been informed.</p>
