Around 2,500 domestic and foreign exhibitors from several countries, including UK and UAE, will showcase their products during the 14-day fair at Pragati Maidan.

The India Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO), a unit of the commerce ministry, said Bihar, Jharkhand, and Maharashtra are the ‘partner states’ this year. At the same time, Uttar Pradesh and Kerala are the ‘focus states. Foreign participants are from 12 countries, including Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bahrain, Belarus, Iran, Nepal, Thailand, Turkey, UAE, and the UK.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) said it would start selling IITF entry tickets from November 14 for ‘business days’ (November 14 to 18) and from November 19 for ‘general public days’ (November 19 to 27). The DMRC stated that the IITF entry ticket would be available only at 67 selected metro stations.

However, the DMRC said that IITF tickets would be available to purchase from the customer care centers of these 67 metro stations from 9 am to 4 pm for both business and average days.

Since 1979, ITPO has organized this mega event every year. Unfortunately, the fair was not contained in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was the second time in history that the fair was not organized since it was started; earlier, this happened in 1980 for the first time.
