
<p>March 13, 2023 – The gates of Gangotri National Park will open on April 1. The Administration has already started preparations. Mountaineering and tourism activities are expected to intensify once the park opens. Every year on 30th November, the Gangotri National Park closes for tourists and reopens on the 1st of April every year.</p>



<p>There are more than 40 mountain peaks in the Gangotri Himalaya. The <a href="http://wildhawk.in/gaumukh-tapovan-trek-a-complete-guide/">Gomukh Tapovan trek</a>, Kedartal, Sundervan, Nandanvan, Vasukital, Janaktal Trek, and <a href="http://wildhawk.in/gartang-gali-uttarkashi/">Gartang Gali</a> attracts thousands of tourists to this area every year.</p>



<p>Park&#8217;s Deputy Director RN Pandey said that the number of domestic and foreign tourists had increased here in the last two years after the Corona epidemic. The number of tourists is expected to increase further in the upcoming season.</p>
