After which SOP was issued regarding the yatra late on Friday night. On Friday itself, Transport Commissioner Deepender Kumar Chaudhary took a meeting of the subordinates.</p>



<p><strong>For the first time, all vehicles will have QR codes</strong>, The Transport Secretary has issued an order that green cards will be issued only after physical inspection of all types of public passenger vehicles. For the first time, all vehicles will have QR codes, which will make checking of vehicles easier.</p>



<p><strong>The transport department has set up two temporary checkposts</strong>, For the convenience of the passengers at Chardham Yatra Bus Terminal, Rishikesh, the Transport Department along with various departments will jointly set up a Help Center. This center will provide services from 6 am to 8 pm. The Transport Department has set up two temporary checkposts at Bhadrakali and Tapovan (Brahmapuri) to prevent overloading, overspeeding, and illegal vehicular movement in Chardham.</p>



<p><strong>Online Application for Green Card / Trip Card</strong>, For the first time the Transport Department and Tourism Department will work together in Chardham Yatra. Its website has been prepared by the Department of Transport. Under this, there will be an online application for the green card of all public passenger vehicles. After this, the vehicle will have to be taken to the concerned transport office and inspected. After that green card will be issued. The print of the Green Card can be printed from the website. Along with this, QR code will be issued for the first time for all vehicles. Due to this, the driver will not have to show the green card during the checking of vehicles, but the transport officer will directly scan it and move the vehicle forward. On the other hand, every time the passenger vehicle will take the passengers, its trip card will be generated. This card will also be made online. For the trip card, the passengers will have to feed the registration number of the Devasthanam Board. <p><strong>Vehicles will not run between eight in the night to five in the morning</strong>, during the Chardham Yatra, the operation of vehicles will be completely prohibited between eight in the night to five in the morning. Do not store any flammable material separately in the vehicle except LPG, diesel, petrol, kerosene tank. A driver should not drive a vehicle continuously for more than eight hours a day.</p>
