May 17, 2021 – After spending six months at ukhimath, Baba Kedarnath has finally reached Kedarnatha temple and will spend 6 months here. However, Due to covid-19 pandemic, the yatra has already been suspended and pilgrims are not allowed to visit the temple.
Only the main Rawal and those selected by Uttarakhand Devasthanam Board and rightful holders of Kedarnath will be able to offer prayers in the temple. This Year Baba Kedarnath’s doli was brought from Ukhimath to Gaurikund via vehicle. Baba Kedarnath’s Doli reached Kedarnath Dham on Saturday. The Kedarnath temple was decorated with flowers on this occasion.
Baba Kedarnath will stay here for 6 months. Some new guidelines maybe announced if infection subsides.
