<p>Rishikund is also known as &#8220;Pond of the Sage&#8221; lies next to Raghunath Temple at Triveni Ghaat in <a href="https://wildhawkadventures.com">Rishikesh</a>. It is believed that The Lord Rama during his exile days took bath here. This kund was used by many great sadhu &; sant&#8217;s for there ceremonial sacred washings when Ganga didn’t flow nearby.</p>



<p>There is a belief that during ancient era, Rishikund was a Havan Kund. Sadu &; Sant&#8217;s performed Yagya to appease Goddess Yamuna. It is believed after that Yagya Goddess Yamuna appeared here and stays here since then.</p>



<p>One can also see clear reflection of Raghunath Temple in this pond which is dedicated to Lord Rama and Sita.</p>
