
<p>June 15, 2021 &#8211; Due to landslides, The <a href="http://wildhawk.in/yamunotri-highway-today-current-status/">Yamunotri Highway</a> has been blocked around kharadi. Long queues of vehicles have formed on both sides of the highway. NH officials along with machinery have already reached the spot.</p>



<p>SDM Chattar Singh Chauhan said that machinery is already present on the spot, but due to the continuous falling of boulders, they are facing problems in opening the highway. Along with this, instructions have already been issued to the Barkot police station to deploy police on the spot.</p>



<p><strong>A hotel is also under threat due to continuous landslides.</strong></p>



<p>Mohan Singh Panwar, a resident of Kharadi, says that the NH Department had started the work of widening the highway in Kharadi a year ago. In which his hotel was damaged.</p>
