The weather fluctuates in Jammu and Kashmir. According to the Meteorological Center Srinagar, light rain may occur in some parts of Jammu and Kashmir on November 13 and 14. Day temperature is running 5 to 7 degrees below normal in most parts of the state. The feeling of cold has increased in the Valley.
Gulmarg, Leh, and Kargil recorded sub-zero minimum night temperatures. The weather will be clear on Saturday. However, it is cold in Leh. The minimum night temperature here has gone up to minus 8.6 degrees Celsius. It is hard in Kargil too.
Last night’s minimum temperature was minus 4.3 degree Celsius. The world-famous tourist destination Gulmarg recorded a minimum temperature of minus 3.2 degrees Celsius last night, while the day’s mercury also dropped 6.8 degrees from regular to 3.8 degrees Celsius.
Similarly, Pahalgam recorded a minimum temperature of minus 4.2 degree Celsius last night. Capital Srinagar recorded a day temperature of 15.0 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 3.6 degrees Celsius the previous night amid clear weather in the Valley. The weather remained clear throughout the day in Jammu.
It was sunny during the day but getting cold in the early morning and night. The day temperature here was recorded at 26.9, and last night’s minimum temperature was 10.6 degree Celsius. Last night’s minimum temperature was 5.2 degrees Celsius in Banihal, 4.9 in Batote, 10.4 in Katra, and 1.7 degrees in Bhaderwah.
