
<p>November 08, 2022 – Manali (Kullu). The tourist city of Manali has become buzzing with tourists. There has been a steady increase in the number of tourists coming here for the past week. However, the number of tourists is less on other days than on weekends.</p>



<p>Given the number of tourists, the Tourism Corporation has given a discount of 20 percent on its hotels. This discount will continue till November 15. Every day 500 to 600 tourist vehicles reach Manali. On weekends, this number is also crossing the one thousand mark. As a result, hotel bookings have also increased from 30 percent to 50 percent.</p>



<p>After the snowfall, the number of tourists in Manali is increasing. If we take last week&#8217;s figures, 400 tourist vehicles were reaching here. However, this number increased during the weekend from 800 to one thousand. These days that number is running 500 to 600. This number is expected to increase further over the weekend. Tourists&#8217; fair is also being organized in Rohtang Pass, the leading tourist destination of Manali.</p>



<p>Every day 400 to 500 vehicles go to Rohtang. Hotel bookings have also increased. These days, 50 percent of rooms are running packed in Manali. Good booking for the coming days as well. Tourism traders expect an excellent tourist season to continue by the end of this month. The Tourism Corporation has given a 20 percent discount for the winter season to the tourists staying in their hotels.</p>



<p>DGM Vikas Aukta of Tourism Corporation said this exemption would remain until November 15. He said bookings are going well. The number of tourists is expected to increase in the coming days. Roshan Thakur, vice-president of the Hoteliers Association, said a good tourist season is expected in Manali in the coming days. Currently, 50 percent of rooms are running packed. Looking at the bookings, a further increase is expected in the coming days.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Film units likely to arrive</h2>



<p>After the snowfall in Manali, film units are also likely to arrive. Sources reveal that the shooting team will reach Manali by the end of this month to produce the big film. The local coordinators are in touch with the shooting units. Bollywood stars can also visit Manali by the end of this month.</p>
