
<p>November 30, 2022 – The administration has started preparations for the proposed international and national skiing competition in Auli. Taking a meeting of the departments on Tuesday, SDM Kumkum Joshi gave instructions to complete all the preparations for the match on time.</p>



<p>An international-level skiing competition will be held in Auli from February 2 to 8. National Skiing and FIS (Federation of International Sports Associations) will organize this competition. Regarding its preparations, <a href="http://wildhawk.in/topics/joshimath-news/">Joshimath</a> SDM Kumkum Joshi took a meeting of all the departments in GMVN Auli and gave instructions to rectify all the arrangements.</p>



<p>He directed the electricity and drinking water department to repair the lines and the municipality to make proper cleaning arrangements. He asked The Road, Health, GMVN Ropeway, and Tourism Departments to make appropriate arrangements on time. Finally, GMVN asked the administration to buy skiing equipment for the fish race.</p>



<p>Ropeway manager Dinesh Bhatt said that viewing the games in Auli, the maintenance work of the ski lift, chair lift, and ropeway has already started.</p>
