November 20, 2022 – Today, While taking a bath at Rishikesh’s Parmarth Niketan Ghat, an old man from Rajasthan drowned in the Ganges on Sunday. People informed the local police and SDRF about this incident. The SDRF team reached the spot and started the search operation.
SDRF Inspector Kavindra Sajwan stated that Hansraj Khurana (80) was an Adarsh Nagar, Jaipur, Rajasthan resident. He came to bathe at the ghat in the morning, but suddenly he was swept away by the strong current.
