Snow Trek to Kedarkantha - 5 Days

Snow Trek to Kedarkantha
8900

Kedarkantha is one of the easiest treks to take you into thick snow. It’s accessible for most of the year, so is popular with other adventurers, but it’s great fun in the winters. You’ll get to camp in snow, trek through snow, and you’ll discover what the famous Juda ka Talab looks like when frozen over. Your drive to Sankri, the start point of the trek, is a highlight by itself, taking you through Mussoorie and along the Tons river. You’ll be camping at a vantage point on your second day, where you’ll wake up at dawn to watch the sun drench the snow-capped peaks in golden light, after which you’ll tuck back into your bags for a couple of hours of beauty sleep more!

Destination Highlights:

  • Trek through snow-covered pine and maple tree forests
  • Camp in comfortable tents with warm sleeping bags with snow all around
  • Set up camp beside a frozen pond in the forest
